Open since July of 1996, Trattoria Fratelli provides the City of Lebanon with outstanding cuisine, friendly service and a warm romantic atmosphere. For those of us who are curious, the name Trattoria Fratelli means Restaurant of the Brothers.

The "Rustica" Northern Italian menu includes a selection of appetizers, soups and salads, brick oven pizza, pasta and main course entrees. The romantic atmosphere is created from a decor of exposed bricks and beams, fire crackling in the wood burning oven and sensual Italian background music. Enjoy dinner in the dining room as you watch chefs prepare and bake pizza in the oven. The Trattoria Fratelli is truly a unique experience in the Lebanon Valley.

The centerpiece of the restaurant is a wood fired oven which is positioned in the front dining room. From this oven comes delicious roasted chicken, gamebirds, seafood and vegetables. During the morning hours, hearty Old World style breads such as "The Bread of Life", "Pesto Bread" and "Honey Walnut Bread" are baked fresh daily. Light and fluffy Rosemary Faccacia are also baked daily for use in vegetable and chicken sandwiches. During service hours, the wood fired oven is used to bake a thin and crispy classic European style pizza. All of the hearth baked breads are available for individual purchase.

The innovative and exciting menu features a variety of exotic salads and appetizers. Feast on portabella mushrooms with polenta, fresh imported sautéed mozzarella with spicy tomato sauce or a wonderful spring asparagus salad. For dinner, choose from a variety of pasta and meats such as risotto with wild mushrooms and truffle oil, squid ink linguini with shellfish, and salmon with potato and lobster ravioli. All entrees are prepared using the freshest ingredients. A daily chef's special will surely excite and please the palate. Conclude your meal with warm ricotta cake with caramel sauce, chocolate mascarpone with canilla custard and hazelnut praline or a fresh baked biscotti. A beautiful brass cappuccino maker beckons you to order an espresso, cappuccino or gourmet coffee.

Trattoria Fratelli has received excellent reviews from a variety of renowned food critics. The Partior News Food Critic, Mimi Brodeur, selected Trattoria Fratelli as the "Romantic's Choice" in Central Pennsylvania. "The Phantom Diner" gave this review:"Tucked away in a working class neighborhood of East Lebanon, tiny but attractive Trattoria Fratelli puts one in mind of those South Philadelphia row house restaurants that make one long for Roma". It has been selected as the "Best Restaurant in Lebanon County" by Central Pennsylvania's Apprise Magazine and one of the top 20 restaurants in Pennsylvania by the Server.

Trattoria Fratelli is located at 502 East Lehman Street in the City of Lebanon and is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 4pm until 10om. It is a nonsmoking restaurant that is handicap accessible and features a deck for outside dining. Reservations are not accepted but private parties are available on Mondays.
